Every single person has a different understanding of music, also do we, FossaJar.

“Fast Bossa in the Jar“ is a music project from Braunschweig (north Germany) that is defined of their own music.

FossaJar is not a band in the true sense of tradition, but also a union of many various musicians in different constellations by two to nine players. In this music project the focus is not on the members of the band but on specific music. The relevant track or song is an important and substantial element that is sparkling and spread around the vibe signatures.

The tracks keep fresh and emotional, through the balance of open characters and free level moments, permissible for the present players.

Simple or complex, in every single moment of this process will be emotional, pulsating vibes spread around.

To describe a music style, Jazz elements must be mentioned, because of  the influences of  Samba, Rock, Swing, Pop, BossaNova, Soul, JazzRock, Rumba and many more, also modern kind of playing and Harmony  can be found. Anyway, at least, it is FossaJar – itself: imaginative, full of ideas, powerful, melodic and vivid – music for people who love to experience music. Enjoy it!

History:

“Fast Bossa in the Jar“ was founded on September 16th 2006, for playing at the Jazzfestival 2007 in „Wegwarte Lucklum (North Germany)“. The next big aim is the Jazzfestival in Moers (West Germany).

The music project FossaJar emerged from the Band aJazz!ve. The pool of musicians consists of following players:
